I thank you for the prompt delivery on my new By-pass oil filter. Also I want to
let you know that I am very satisfied with your filter performance and dollar
savings performance wise.
I run a 1693TA 425 Cat Engine. I use a 15W 40W oil, for the past ten years until
our phone conversation in March 1990. I had changed oil on a 10,000 mile
interval with one change on the GCF filter …. As per our conversation
I’m not going to change oil, I will change main filter at 50,000 miles by-pass
filter 3,000-4,000 miles and take oil sample….
Dollar wise:
Changing oil the way I have for the past ten years I know I’ve saved no less
than $4,050.00. This is based on 90 oil changes in 900,000 miles at $90.00 per
change using twelve gallons of oil, one cat filter, one luber finer filter which
you deleted.
One in-frame was done at 490,000 miles; all bearings looked good and new, rings
were not gummed up…. In fact, it was the cleanest engine I have ever seen
inside, all replacement parts were standard….
